Dr. Grace Choi
Dr. Grace Choi is passionate about creating healthy, confident smiles while making a meaningful difference in her patients’ lives. She views dentistry as an opportunity to be a problem solver—helping patients overcome dental concerns, restore their oral health, and feel confident about their care.
Dr. Choi first discovered her interest in dentistry while in high school. Naturally creative and skilled at working with her hands, she had always enjoyed arts and crafts and wanted to pursue a career where she could combine those talents with her desire to help others. Dentistry became the perfect blend of science, artistry, precision, and personal connection.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Choi attended Texas State University before earning her dental degree from UT Health San Antonio. Dedicated to continually expanding her clinical skills, she has pursued advanced continuing education in implant dentistry and has placed more than 100 dental implants. She is also laser certified, allowing her to incorporate advanced technology into the care she provides.
Originally from South Korea, Dr. Choi immigrated to the United States with her family. She also spent 10 years of her childhood living in South Korea, where she attended an international school. Her experiences growing up between different cultures have helped shape who she is today and the way she connects with the people around her.
At Amaze Dental, one of Dr. Choi’s favorite aspects of being a dentist is seeing the direct impact her work can have on someone’s quality of life. Whether she is relieving discomfort, restoring function, placing an implant, or helping someone achieve a healthier smile, she finds fulfillment in creating solutions tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Outside of the dental office, Dr. Choi continues to embrace her creative side through arts and crafts and cooking. She also enjoys attending live music shows and spending time with the people she loves.
